Pray for my dad, 54, David, who lives in AZ. He was admitted to the hospital this morning for heart symptoms, possible blood clot with pain and shortness of breath. Doing further tests this am, 2/1/12.
I have a PRAISE. I was a UNI student for a year and half, two years and the PLC church always made me feel welcome and encouraged whether I was there for a service or theRiver. I had a chance to meet some people that invested in me during my time at UNI. It was a Jesus with skin on experience for me. Thank you PLC!
Prayer of the Week
In March, Prairie Lakes has the privilege of sending a team of seven young, passionate college-age students over to Kwambekenya, Kenya, Africa, to continue the work of the teams who have gone before. On this trip the team will spend time helping to finish the construction of the school block at the Kimibiriki Primary School that was funded through A Better Story Campaign. The team will also spend time assisting local teachers in their classrooms and hosting a youth conference for the 7th and 8th grade students. God has opened up many doors at the local school this trip and the team members are excited for the opportunity to invest in the lives of the youth in Kwambekenya.
Let's pray that the travel plans will become secure and set, that there would be good health for the team members before, during and after the trip, and that as the trip is planned there would be unity and openness among the team members. The team members are as follows: Shane Fuller, Jarred Herring, Raven Snyder, Sara Strawhacker, Kyle Thomas, Jill Thomas, and Diana Mescher. In the weeks between now and departure time, we will be praying for more specific needs from the team members. Begin praying now for this very important mission.

Please pray for a Katie's family. She was a 21 year woman that died in a horrible car accident Friday night near Humboldt, someone went across the center line and hit her head on. Please pray for the family during this process grieving. Thank you.
My boyfriend’s step mom Sue was admitted to the hospital this past week with complications due to Bell’s Palsy, a form of facial paralysis. She also has suffered lifelong scoliosis and is usually in constant pain.
Prayers for Lindsay (26) who at 4 months into her pregnancy has been diagnosed with cervical cancer. She will begin chemotherapy tomorrow at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Woman in Orlando, FL.
Hope is that doctors will be able to arrest existing cancer cells and prevent spreading.
Baby may be taken earlier than scheduled delivery date and after delivery Lindsay will have a complete hysterectomy.
My husband of 31 years has recently asked me for a divorce and I am confused and heartbroken. This is a very trying time for me and my children. Please pray for my family that we find the path that God has chosen for us. Thank you and God Bless
Please pray for Nathan as he goes to Mayo on Monday, Jan 30th for appointment with a Hematologist to find out what is going on besides his spinal disease. He had 3 MRI's this past week, and the results of those do not look good. He is 31 years old, and has a wife, Lisa and 6 children. Please pray for their whole family. THANK YOU!!
My in-laws (Bob and Lillian Ehrhardt) are traveling to Florida this week (today their destination is Blytheville, Arkansas and tomorrow Pensacola, FL), so praying for safe travels for them as they reach their destinations. Thanks for your prayers!!!
My Husband Jerry had a heart attack on Tuesday, was in ICU and was a little scary but God is Good and he is doing great recuperating. But now they have found a couple of lumps on his Thyroid and want to take a biopsy on Feb. 14 Please pray for us - that we will trust Christ in this.
A 20 year old Christian woman has been in an on again/off again destructive relationship with her abusive boyfriend for over two years. They have recently broken off again. She needs God's deliverance, a miracle, to completely break away from him and return to a healthy life.
